Go to MarketplaceHub

Connect Google Shopping

Connect your Google Merchant Center account, choose your home and extra countries, and see what Google decided about each product.

Connect your Merchant Center account

  1. On Home, click Connect new Marketplace, pick Google Shopping, then pick your home country. Your products are sold there in its currency and language.
  2. On the Redirect step, click Connect Account, sign in with the Google account that manages your Merchant Center, and approve MarketplaceHub.
  3. On Choose account, pick your Merchant Center account. You can also tick extra countries: Google shows the same products there and converts the price. Only countries that take your store's language are offered.

MarketplaceHub then makes its own product source in your Merchant Center, named MarketplaceHub and your country code. Everything MarketplaceHub sends goes there, and nothing else in your account is changed.

Before your products can show

  • A claimed website. Verify and claim your website in Merchant Center. Google does not show products without it.
  • A product page for each product. MarketplaceHub uses the product page link you type on the product, else the product's page in your Shopify store, else the link pattern on Store settings (for example https://myshop.com/p/{sku}). Every link must be on your claimed website.
  • Shipping settings in Merchant Center for each country you sell in.
  • Prices in the right currency. If your MarketplaceHub prices are not known to be in your store's currency, products wait until you confirm them on Store settings.

See what Google decided

  • Google reviews each product. The product's Google card shows it for each country, for example DE shown · AT in review.
  • A product Google disapproves at home is marked with Google's own reason. Fix it and save the product to send it again.
  • When Merchant Center reports a problem with your account (no claimed website, missing shipping settings, or the MarketplaceHub product source removed), it appears on Needs you.

Good to know

  • Google knows whether a product is in stock, not how many. MarketplaceHub sends in stock or out of stock.
  • If a product is already in Merchant Center from another source (for example Shopify's Google app), MarketplaceHub does not send a second copy. The product waits with a message that names the other source.
  • Disconnecting deletes MarketplaceHub's product source, so its products leave Google right away. Your other sources are not touched. To remove MarketplaceHub's access completely, also remove it at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • How MarketplaceHub uses data from Google is described in our Google API Data Use statement.
