Ask about your store, in plain words
The Agent Bot is a chat assistant built into MarketplaceHub. Open it from the Agent Bot row in the sidebar, or with the robot button at the top of the screen on a phone, and ask about your own store: "What needs me today?", "Which orders are waiting to ship?", "Which listings have problems?".
What it can look at
Products — find a product by SKU, folder or title, and see its stock, price and status on each marketplace.
Orders — find an order and see what is in it and where it stands.
Marketplaces and jobs — which stores are connected, and which background jobs ran recently.
AI credits — your balance.
Listings that need you — the same "Needs you today" list as the Home page, listings with problems, and products still waiting in the AI pipeline.
This Help Center — for a "how do I..." question it looks up the article and links you to it, instead of guessing.
It works from your own data, and each person sees only what their role allows, by the same rule the pages follow. It is not given your buyers' names or addresses.
It never changes anything by itself
When you ask for a change, the bot does not make it. It shows a card that lists exactly what will change, and nothing happens until you press Confirm on that card. The card is built from your own data, not from what the bot says, so what the card shows is what will be done. Press Dismiss to close a card and change nothing.
A card can be one of four kinds:
Price or stock — a new price or quantity for a few products. Your marketplaces get the new values on their next sync. See Review and approve price changes for how price changes are tracked.
Confirm a shipment — a carrier and tracking number for order lines that are waiting to ship. This tells the buyer the parcel has shipped, so read the card with care. An order a marketplace ships itself cannot be confirmed.
Run the AI again — products still in the AI pipeline. Confirming only opens the AI Launchpad with those products. Nothing is billed until you press Launch there, where you see the price. See Re-run AI for a product.
Fill a missing value — one value for a required field that is empty on a group of listings with a problem, for example Colour. It is the same as Fix all on the Inventory Issues tab: the value is saved and nothing is sent to a marketplace. Check the listings again, or republish them, afterwards. See Fix missing fields in bulk.
Cards expire, and they are not reused
A card stays open for a short while and says how long. If anything it names has changed since the card was made, such as a price someone else set, an order you already shipped or a listing that is already fixed, Confirm refuses and nothing is changed. Ask again for a fresh card.
Only the person who asked can confirm a card, and the change needs the same role as the page that normally makes it. If you can only read Orders, the bot cannot ship an order for you. See Invite team members and manage access for roles.
Good to know
What it costs: the Agent Bot is free until 19 October 2026. From then on, each message it answers uses 1 AI credit, from the same balance as AI imports. A message that gets no answer gives its credit back. See AI credits explained.
With no credits left, the bot says "You need 1 AI Credit to use the Agent Bot." and links to Plan & billing, where credits are bought. If your role cannot open that page, it asks you to ask the account owner.
There is also a daily limit on messages. If you reach it, the bot says so, and the limit resets at midnight UTC.
The Agent Bot's answers can be wrong. It links to the page behind what it says, so check the figures there before you act on them.
This is not the same as connecting an AI assistant (MCP), which lets Claude or ChatGPT work with your store from their own apps.
