Link multiple files into one catalog

Join a separate images, attributes or categories file to your main product file — matched by a shared column, with list and key/value grouping.

When to use it

If your categories, images or attributes live in a separate CSV or JSON file (or behind an API endpoint), the Link Files step joins them to your main product file — so the import sees one combined catalog. The step is optional: if everything lives in one file, just continue past it.

Link a file

1. Your main file appears at the top as the PRIMARY PRODUCT FILE.
2. Click Link another file (CSV/TSV or JSON), or switch to From URL / API to fetch a JSON endpoint — with optional Basic Auth or Bearer Token / API Key authentication — and click Fetch & link.
3. Tell MarketplaceHub how rows match: in the MATCH row, pick the column from your product file and the column from the linked file that share the same value (an SKU or product id, typically).
4. If the linked file has multiple rows per product, choose how to group them:
   • Combine into a list — e.g. several image URLs per SKU become an image list.
   • Extract as Key-Value Attributes — for name/value files, pick the Column for Key/Name and Column for Value; each key becomes its own field.
5. Click Save join. The preview below shows a sample of the joined rows so you can confirm the match works.

Where the linked data goes

On the Data mapping step, columns from linked files appear in their own section — "From your linked files" — ready to map like any other column (a linked image file can fill MainImg and Img1–Img24, for example). The wizard works against a sample of each file; the full files are joined when the import job actually runs.

Linking files is available on product imports (not price & stock syncs).
