Connect Etsy
Authorize MarketplaceHub on your Etsy account — a shop is required — and choose whether Etsy feeds products in, receives listings, or both.
Connect your Etsy shop
- On the Dashboard, click Connect new Marketplace and pick Etsy. (There's no country step for Etsy.)
- On the Redirect step, click Connect Account and approve MarketplaceHub on Etsy's consent screen.
- Auth Confirmation confirms the connection, and the Etsy card appears on your Dashboard right away.
You need an Etsy shop first
The Etsy account you authorize must already have a shop. If it doesn't, the connection stops with: "That Etsy account doesn't have a shop yet. Open your shop on Etsy, then connect it here." Create the shop on Etsy, then connect again.
One shop, two directions
- Selling to Etsy: this connection lets MarketplaceHub publish listings and price/stock updates to your shop.
- Importing from Etsy: to pull your existing Etsy listings into MarketplaceHub, open the import setup and choose the Etsy marketplace source. See Import products from Etsy.
Good to know
- Etsy supports one shop per account here, so the Etsy card disappears from the Setup Marketplace wizard after your first connect.
- Etsy's API sends no change notifications, so the optional stock sync works by checking your shop on a schedule — see Real-time stock sync.
