How MarketplaceHub notifications work: the bell and toasts, category filters, one-click row actions, per-user mutes and the Marketplace health email option.
The bell in the header collects everything that happens in your account — imports finishing, marketplace health, AI runs, pricing updates, team activity and security alerts. The badge shows your unread count (mirrored into the browser tab title), new arrivals pop up as toasts, and repeated events collapse into one row with a ×N counter instead of flooding the list. Mark all as read and View all live at the top of the dropdown.
View all opens the full feed with filter chips — All, Imports & syncs, Orders, Marketplace health, AI classification, Smart Pricing, Team, Security — and an Unread only switch. Some rows carry a one-click action button, like Re-run import on a failed import or Check connection on an Amazon health alert.
Two buttons behave differently on purpose: Mark all as read affects only you, while Clear all removes every notification for your whole account team — it asks for confirmation first.
The gear icon opens your preferences — personal to you; other team members keep their own. Each category has a switch: Imports & syncs, New orders, Marketplace health, AI classification, Smart Pricing, Team and Security. Muting a category hides its rows and toasts for you.
Notifications are kept for 90 days.
