Import from a CSV or JSON feed

Upload a CSV/TSV file or connect a JSON/API feed: structure detection, column mapping to system fields, and scheduled re-fetch from URL or SFTP.

Start from the marketplace card

Open your marketplace card on the Dashboard and click Integrate with datasource. On the Source selection step, pick Comma Separated Values for a CSV/TSV file, or JSON / API endpoint for a JSON feed.

Describe your feed

On the Feed description step you either upload a file or point MarketplaceHub at a URL:

• Upload — drag & drop your .csv or .tsv file (for JSON, upload a sample response). An uploaded file is imported once — there's nothing to re-fetch later.
• Feed URL — a direct link to the file or API. URL feeds support authentication (None, Basic Auth, or Bearer / API Key) and can be re-fetched automatically on a schedule. Click Fetch & parse.

MarketplaceHub then reads the file and detects its structure — delimiter, header row, encoding and the number of rows. When you see "Structure detected — looks good!", check the detected columns; Configure structure manually lets you override the delimiter, text qualifier, header row and columns if the auto-detection got something wrong. For JSON, you'll be shown the payload and asked to click the array that contains your products; nested fields appear later in dot notation (e.g. pricing.msrp).

Map your columns

The Data mapping step lists MarketplaceHub's system fields, one row each, and asks which feed column fills it. Seven fields are required: Title, Sku, Description, Price, Quantity, Category and MainImg. Optional fields — extra images (Img1–Img24), Cost and Barcode — stay hidden until you click Add optional field. MarketplaceHub pre-fills matches by column-name similarity, and Auto-map with AI takes a smarter pass; review and confirm before continuing. You don't map marketplace categories here — AI handles marketplace taxonomy later.

Filter, defaults, schedule

1. Link Files (optional) — join extra files into the catalog; see Link multiple files.
2. Restrictions — skip unwanted rows; see junk filters.
3. Marketplace Defaults — values applied to every imported product for this marketplace.
4. Job setup — choose, per file, where it's fetched from when the import runs: Uploaded file (use the bytes you uploaded — one-off), URL, or SFTP. URL and SFTP sources can run on a recurring schedule. Click Schedule Import.
