Connect Shopify
Connect your Shopify store with its .myshopify.com domain, approve the app permissions, and choose whether it feeds products in, receives listings, or both.
Connect your Shopify store
- On the Dashboard, click Connect new Marketplace and pick Shopify. (There's no country step for Shopify.)
- On the Redirect step, enter your store under Your Shopify store — for example your-store.myshopify.com — and click Connect Account.
- Approve the app on Shopify's consent screen. The permissions shown come from the app's configuration; MarketplaceHub needs read access to your products and, to publish and sync, write_products and write_inventory. If write access is missing you'll see a warning after connecting — re-approve the app to fix it.
- Auth Confirmation confirms the store is connected.
The store card appears on your Dashboard immediately — Shopify connections don't need a pulling phase.
One store, two directions
- Selling to Shopify: the connection you just made lets MarketplaceHub publish products and price/stock updates to your store.
- Importing from Shopify: to pull your store's catalog into MarketplaceHub, open the import setup and choose the Shopify marketplace source — including the Auto-Sync option that keeps new and updated products flowing in automatically. See Import products from Shopify.
Good to know
- Shopify supports one store per account here, so the Shopify card disappears from the Setup Marketplace wizard after your first connect.
- If you uninstall the MarketplaceHub app inside Shopify, syncing stops and you'll get a notification — see Fix a disconnected marketplace.
- Disconnecting the store from MarketplaceHub keeps your imported products — see Pause or disconnect.
