Publish products to your marketplace

Publish Ready products in the background: what gets written to Inventory, how listings reach the marketplace, and where to track success or failures.

Publish your Ready products

Publishing happens from the Inventory list. Open the Ready tab, tick the products you want (or Select all N in this tab) and press Approve and publish N; or open one product and press Publish in its detail pane. Either way you'll see a note that publishing runs in the background. The AI Import wizard itself no longer publishes — its last step hands you to Inventory.

What publishing does

1. Each Ready product becomes a real product in your Inventory — title, description, price, SKU, quantity, the matched category, extracted attributes, marketplace defaults and any AI SEO copy.
2. Product images are downloaded from their source URLs into your media library, so listings don't depend on external image hosting staying alive.
3. The batch is handed to the marketplace — listings are created (or updated, if the product already exists there) through the marketplace's own feed/API pipeline.

Following progress

• The Inventory list's Published tab fills as products go through.
• The bell notification "Product publish finished" tells you the outcome — "N product(s) published to your marketplace", with a failure count if anything went wrong.
• The marketplace card's progress bar on the Dashboard reflects the new Published share.

If a product fails to publish

It returns to Needs review (and shows on the Issues tab) with a "Last publish error" banner quoting the marketplace's response — fix the flagged field and publish again. When a marketplace refused several products over their category, Smart Bulk Resolutions offers a card that moves the whole group. Publishing is incremental: only Ready products are sent, so you can publish in waves as you review.
