Products didn't appear on the marketplace

Trace a publish problem: the Last publish error banner, async feed verdicts, connection state, eBay policies and Amazon plan requirements.

First: what did the publish report?

Publishing ends with a "Product publish finished" notification — "N product(s) published to your marketplace", plus a failure count if anything went wrong. Products that failed return to the review queue's Needs Review tab, each with a yellow Last publish error banner quoting the marketplace's exact response. Fix the flagged field, save, and publish again — only Ready products are sent, so re-publishing never duplicates what already went through.

The marketplace accepted the feed — then rejected items

Marketplaces validate listings asynchronously, so a second wave of verdicts can arrive after publishing:

• "Product listing feed processed with errors" — some items failed the marketplace's checks; open Inventory and check the item statuses.
• "Product listing feed was rejected" — the marketplace didn't process the submission at all; the message quotes its processing status.

The usual suspects

• Connection state — a Disconnected card can't receive listings; click Authorize first (see Fix a disconnected marketplace).
• eBay business policies — eBay listings need a Fulfillment, Payment and Return policy; assign them in review (they're dropdowns on each product, or one bulk card under Smart Bulk Resolutions). If the marketplace card says eBay Business Policies not enabled, the account itself isn't signed up yet — see eBay Business Policies aren't enabled.
• Missing category requirements — the marketplace enforces its schema server-side too; the Last publish error names the field it refused.
• Amazon plan — "Amazon professional account required" means the API won't accept listings until the account is on a Professional plan; upgrade and Reconcile.

Nothing arrived at all?

Check the review queue's Published tab — if products are there, MarketplaceHub sent them and the marketplace's own processing may simply still be running. If products are still Ready, the publish batch didn't complete: look for the failure count in the notification, then re-publish. Still puzzled?
